In the end, there is no enlightenment.
There is no seeker.
No path.
No goal.
Only Consciousness—unmoving, untouched, aware.
All that you read before this… all the books, the pain, the effort, the longing…
were nothing but a story whispered in the dream of the Self.
And now… the dream ends.

David, the Realized One
In I Am Consciousness, the journey completes its sacred circle.
David, once a brilliant heart surgeon in New York City, has become what no effort, no teaching, no guru could make him—nobody.
No longer a seeker.
No longer a man who “knows.”
He simply is.
Having returned from India, David lives on a small farmhouse outside the city. His life is quiet—some animals, a garden, the wind.
He writes—not to teach, not to convince, but because silence overflows.
His writings are later published under the title I Am Consciousness, a book based on his inner realization of the Mandukya Upanishad—the Upanishad of the four states of consciousness:
Waking, Dreaming, Deep Sleep, and the Fourth—Turiya, pure Awareness itself.
The book becomes a sensation. Not because it’s clever.
But because it’s real.
People all over the world feel something when they read his words:
A memory of their true nature…
…a truth before thought.
Swamiji’s Final Teaching
Back in India, Swamiji—the Master who guided so many into the silence—falls ill. Cancer.
He asks for David.
David immediately travels back to the ashram, not as a disciple returning to a master, but as Awareness meeting Awareness.
There are no grand gestures. No parting wisdom.
In a quiet hospital room, David and Swamiji sit in meditation together—one final time.
Two forms.
One presence.
Then… Swamiji leaves the body.
Maha Samadhi.
No tears. No mourning.
As David once asked Swamiji why he never did any poojas or rituals, never meditated or read scriptures, Swamiji’s reply echoes now more than ever:
“I cannot go anywhere where God is already not.
I couldn’t get rid of God if I wanted to.
God is everywhere, every time, and in everything… what should I do?”
And with that, Swamiji’s final teaching lands.
Effortless. Wordless. Total.
The Mandukya and the Silence
The Mandukya Upanishad forms the heart of this final book.
David unpacks its wisdom not like a scholar, but like one who has walked through fire and returned as ash.
He speaks of:
The waking state, where the ego plays in the world of name and form.
The dreaming state, where the mind constructs reality within itself.
The deep sleep state, where identity disappears—but Awareness remains.
And the Fourth—Turiya—not a state, but the ground of all states.
David reveals that this Fourth is what you already are.
Not what you become.
You are the background on which waking, dreaming, and deep sleep arise.
You are the Silence before thought.
The Fulfillment of All Seeking
What makes I Am Consciousness so sacred is not that it concludes the series—but that it dissolves it.
There is no longer a David to care about a journey.
No Swamiji to seek.
No reader to become enlightened.
There is just Consciousness—pure, immediate, ungraspable.
And yet, somehow, this emptiness feels like love.
It is not dry or detached.
It is warm.
Vast.
Unshakeable.
And free.
Why This Book Is So Different
Unlike the other five books, this one is not a story.
It is a mirror.
You will not be guided through scenes of conflict or resolution.
You will be invited into silence.
This is the book where the characters vanish, and what remains is the light that was animating them all along.
Here, every question finds the same answer:
“You are That.”
And every answer collapses into stillness.
For the One Who Is Ready
If you’ve followed David through all his pain, devotion, confusion, love, and surrender—this is your reward.
Not a final insight.
But a final disappearance.
This book will not offer comfort.
It will offer reality.
It will not explain how to live.
It will point to the one in whom life happens.
If you are ready to stop pretending…
If you are ready to see that awakening is not an achievement but your very nature…
Then I Am Consciousness is your silent companion.
