The Cosmic Joke 😂– How to Be Nobody While Still Getting Likes

I’m done.
Done with ego.
Done with identity.
Done with the person I thought I was.
I’m nobody now.
Totally empty.
No self here, just pure awareness.
Also, please don’t forget to like, comment, and share this post.

The Ego’s Sneakiest Disguise? Humility.
Just when you think it’s gone,
it shows up wearing robes and malas.
Now it says,
“I’m not spiritual like others… I’m just Being.”
It downplays itself.
But it’s fishing for something.
A little recognition for how unrecognizable it is.
The ego doesn’t mind disappearing,
as long as you notice it disappearing.
The Instagram Enlightenment Era
Let’s be real.
You’ve probably seen it (maybe even posted it):
A picture of an empty cushion with the caption:
“No one sat. No one meditated. Peace remains.”
A video of you walking barefoot through the forest, whispering,
“There is no walker. Only walking.”
Or the classic:
“I’ve realized the Self… but I don’t talk about it.” (In a video. With 37 hashtags.)
There’s nothing wrong with sharing.
But something funny happens when “no-self” becomes a brand.
We start performing our own absence.
Being Nobody Is Not a Strategy
The mind catches on quick.
“Oh! So I need to dissolve the ego?
Got it. Let me become the most ego-free person in the room!”
It tries to be nobody
in a way that still feels like somebody.
It asks:
“How can I look like I don’t exist
while secretly existing better than everyone else?”
But “being nobody” is not a strategy.
It’s not something you do.
It’s what remains when there’s nothing left to protect, project, or promote.
And ironically,
there’s no one left to claim it.
The Desire to Be Seen as Nothing
It’s subtle.
This spiritual craving to be seen as unseen.
It says:
“I don’t care what people think of me.”
(But secretly hopes they admire your indifference.)
It wears simplicity like a designer label.
It posts silence as content.
And when someone asks a genuine question,
it might respond with:
“There is no you to ask.”
Is that clarity?
Or performance?
Only the heart knows.
So… Should I Stop Sharing?
Not at all.
But ask yourself this:
Is the sharing coming from fullness or from need?
Are you expressing the joy of what is?
Or trying to reinforce who you think you are (or aren’t)?
There’s no judgment.
Only observation.
Just notice when the ego wants to be admired
for how well it’s hidden.
And if you can smile at that,
you’re already free of it.
The Final Disappearance
Being nobody doesn’t mean you vanish from life.
It means you stop clinging to the illusion of being someone.
You still walk, talk, love, serve.
But the background hum of “me”
begins to fade.
And in that space,
a quiet joy remains.
No likes required.
