The Cosmic Joke 😂 – Spiritual Ego Wants to Be the Best Nobody

The ego is clever.
Once it realizes material success won’t give it peace,
it reinvents itself as a “spiritual seeker.”

From CEO to Sage-in-Training
One day, you’re chasing promotions.
The next, you’re chasing enlightenment retreats.
But it’s the same chase.
The same ego —
just dressed in white robes instead of business suits.
The Best Nobody
The ego says:
“If I can’t be the richest, I’ll be the purest.”
“If I can’t be the most powerful, I’ll be the most awakened.”
It wants to be recognized…
for realizing there’s no one to recognize.
Now that’s a cosmic joke.

The Trap of Comparison
Seekers compare meditations like athletes compare scores.
“I sat for 3 hours today.”
“Oh, I dissolved into bliss for 4.”
Meanwhile, Truth sits laughing —
because it was never about duration or depth.
The Only Exit
The only way out isn’t to become the “best seeker.”
It’s to see through the one who seeks at all.
That’s not glamorous.
It doesn’t win applause.
But it’s the only real freedom.

One illusion is that awakening makes you special. Let’s laugh at that together.
